The Patient Advocacy Program at Greenburgh Health Center (GHC) is designed to assist patients in navigating the various services provided, and assures that patients health care needs are met.

The Patient Advocate provides the following Services:  

  • Make arrangements for an interpreter in the patients’ preferred language if needed
  • Connect patients with community resources available to them and their family
  • Assist with gathering information as needed
  • Be proactive in the patients favor…
  • Work collaboratively with clinical staff to bridge the gap between the patient and the health care providers 
  • Listen to patients’ questions and concerns and seek the answers to assure that they are satisfied with the services provided
  • Listen to patients’ complaints and suggestions for improvement
  • Be at the patients’ side whenever they need
  • The Patient Advocate will ensure that patients experience the best care in a compassionate and respectful way.
